The Ridley School District seeks creative and effective solutions to problems that disrupt the educational process and affect school safety. The District's Comprehensive Plan directs that the district provides, maintains, and sustains resources which will ensure a safe learning environment for all children and district personnel. The Ridley School District will nurture and foster community partnerships in the goal of maintaining a safe and caring school environment for all students. In order to accomplish these goals, the District will:

• train teachers and administrators in the areas of prevention, intervention, postvention, behavioral management, and student assistance;

• provide curriculum support and staff development in the area of school climate; and,

• provide a variety of student services to students through the student assistance program, the school counseling programs, and district run support groups.
