Ridley High School students and staff are invited to take the plunge—literally—at the 2025 Philadelphia Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania. The event will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Citizens Bank Park, offering participants a unique opportunity to make a splash while supporting a great cause.
The Polar Plunge is one of the most exciting and heartwarming events in the Greater Philadelphia area, bringing together communities to raise funds for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every dollar raised goes toward providing essential programming and opportunities for these inspiring individuals.
Participants will have the chance to dive into chilly waters for a good cause, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Whether you’re a seasoned Plunger or a first-timer looking to join the fun, the event promises a day full of energy, camaraderie, and a lot of bravery!
Ridley High School is calling on students, teachers, clubs, and sports teams to form teams or register individually for this unforgettable experience. Not interested in plunging? You can still participate by cheering on your peers or making a donation to support the school’s fundraising efforts.
