Mindset Night

RHS is excited to invite you to a very special event that will be beneficial for both our student athletes and their families: Mindset Night, taking place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. This event is being hosted by Ridley High School’s Athletic Department in collaboration with our Student Assistant Program (SAP), and it promises to be an evening of valuable insights and practical tools for supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our athletes, families, and coaches.

The evening will be led by Dr. Mitchell Greene, the founder of GreenePsych, along with several other experienced staff members. GreenePsych is well-known for providing support to student athletes, coaches, and families in areas such as building and maintaining confidence, overcoming setbacks due to injury, managing anxiety, reacting constructively to mistakes, goal-setting, and addressing broader mental health challenges. The goal of this event is to provide our community with the strategies and knowledge to support our athletes both on and off the field.

Mindset Night will consist of several sessions designed to address the unique needs of different groups:

  • Breakout sessions for student athletes

  • Breakout sessions for coaches

  • Breakout sessions for parents

This event is designed to foster a stronger, more connected athletic community at Ridley, and we encourage all student athletes and their families to attend.  This evening will provide valuable resources for everyone.
