It’s time for The Great Kindness Challenge! This week gives us a chance to promote positive actions across our community. Kindness fosters a safer, more inclusive school environment, and every one of us has a role to play. Let’s come together to spread kindness and make Ridley School District a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.
Here are a few ways you can participate at a student:
Invite someone new to sit with you at lunch.
Compliment or thank a teacher or staff member.
Help a classmate with their work or a task.
Write a positive note to someone who could use a boost.
Here are some ideas to get involved teacher/staff member:
Thank a colleague for their hard work or support.
Acknowledge students who consistently show kindness.
Collaborate with your peers to create a kindness-themed classroom activity.
Encourage students to participate in the kindness challenge and lead by example.
In addition to showing kindness to others, don’t forget to be kind to yourself. If you or a family member needs extra support, Ridley School District offers resources through Care Solace.
