Great Kindness Challenge

It’s time for The Great Kindness Challenge! This week gives us a chance to promote positive actions across our community. Kindness fosters a safer, more inclusive school environment, and every one of us has a role to play. Let’s come together to spread kindness and make Ridley School District a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.

Here are a few ways you can participate at a student:

  • Invite someone new to sit with you at lunch.

  • Compliment or thank a teacher or staff member.

  • Help a classmate with their work or a task.

  • Write a positive note to someone who could use a boost.

Here are some ideas to get involved teacher/staff member:

  • Thank a colleague for their hard work or support.

  • Acknowledge students who consistently show kindness.

  • Collaborate with your peers to create a kindness-themed classroom activity.

  • Encourage students to participate in the kindness challenge and lead by example.

In addition to showing kindness to others, don’t forget to be kind to yourself. If you or a family member needs extra support, Ridley School District offers resources through Care Solace.

  • Call 888-515-0595, available 24/7 in over 50 languages.

  • Visit caresolace.com/ridley to connect with care providers.

Thank you for your dedication to our community and for leading with kindness. You make Ridley School District extraordinary.
