Leedom has been awarded a fantastic report after being named one of the 2024 Best Elementary Schools by U.S. News. Being ranked in the top 40% of Pennsylvania primary schools, U.S. News designated Leedom Elementary School as part of the Best Elementary Schools in the state.
Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school. State assessment tests were used to evaluate schools according to the reading and math proficiency of their students. The results alone made up half of the ranking system, while the outcomes in relation to socioeconomic demographics made up the other half. To put it another way, the best-ranked schools are those that achieve great things and are able to teach every kid.
